Live at Bridal Cove and Be Part of the Ongoing Effort to Protect One of Southern Appalachia's Prized Natural Jewels

From the ridge at Bridal Cove, you see the expanse of ancient mountains and fertile farmland known as the New River Headwaters region. The Nature Conservancy began protecting the rich biodiversity and unique geologic features here in 1977. Today thanks to collaboration between eight state and local organizations, 8,000 of the region's rivers forest and meadows are permanently preserved.

Bridal Cove sits surrounded by this unspoiled beauty. With 100+ acres of wildlife habitat designated for permanent protection, it plays a critical role the preservation of this significant region.
